  • New 2020 Scissor Pontoon Trailers

14' - 20' Single Axle $1,625 14' - 20' Tandem Axle $1,825 22' - 24' Tandem Axle $1,925 Scissor-style trailers, aka "fold-down" trailers feature a narrow frame that fits between the pontoons and lifts the boat by the deck in the center of the pontoon. Due to it's design, scissor-style trailers cannot haul tri-toons. Pros & Cons of Scissor -Style Trailers The scissor-style trailers are a little cheaper than the bunk-style and can add convenience to your commute when launching and loading your pontoon. This is because they can launch in much more shallow waters due to the pontoon being held up by the deck instead of the pontoons. The base can be raised and lowered mechanically, which allows you to lower your boat directly onto the ground and can be pushed into water of any depth. This feature also comes in handy if you plan to store your boat in a garage or shed and you need to clear the garage door opening because the top of the boat is much lower than using a bunk-style trailer. If your launching location has a long, shallow wake you'll probably want to choose the scissor style trailer for ease of access. Keep in mind you want to get as much stability as possible when transporting your boat so it doesn't tip in the process. We strongly recommend staying away from single axle scissor-style models. With only 2 wheels (which is the bare minimum) you are asking for trouble because they tend to tip rather easily. However, using a tandem axle trailer with 4 wheels or more will give your trailer the best balance and the stability needed to get your boat safely to its destination.

  • New 2020 KTM Bunk-style Pontoon Trailers

Pros & Cons of Bunk-style pontoon trailers Bunk-style pontoon trailers, aka, "Drive-on" or "float-on" trailers feature a wide base with 2 raised bunks that support the pontoons along either side of the boat. The bunk-style pontoon trailers include LED lights. This style is great for towing due to its flat, wide base which gives it stability. So if you know you are in for a rough drive ahead you may want this style of trailer to safely tow your pontoon to its destination. The bunk-style pontoon trailers are a little more expensive than the scissor-style and you must load and launch your boat using the trailer as a ramp. This means the trailer must be submerged in the water enough to drive your pontoon on and off, which isn't always practical in shallow tides. For shallow launching points you may want to consider the scissor-style trailer. 16' - 20' Single Axle - $2,175 16' - 20' Tandem Axle - $2,325 22' - 24' Tandem Axle - $2,475
